Piece by piece a design for either a wall hanging, mirror or shower comes together from broken ceramic tiles. Influenced by what's all around us these designs have a strong pull to nature and a tranquil feel that you'll never tire of enjoying.

Local Crafts

Chakara bags made from the pita plant come to us from the village of Salt Creek. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings using shells, seeds and intricate weaves, are made here by a local teenage boy and his father, or bought in from local crafts people from all over Panama. Handmade wooden boxes, European glass and bead jewelry, traditional gyami children's clothes and much more make up our selection of local crafts.

Furniture and Lamps

Anything from tables and chairs, to beds, doors and sofas, all are on show at our house-shop and all were made by the very same man! Our house was handmade from scratch using hand cut wood from here on the farm. Slowly and lovingly over 4 years it has come together, and so it continues as we're not finished yet! Lamps are a specialty of Up in the Hill and come in all different forms using all kinds of natural materials.
